Traditional German model cellos from the GEWA workshop, crafted with European tonewoods, with factory set up (BVS Shop setup still available, see note below). Big, solid, resonant tone. Attractive shaded and mildly antiqued finish.
BVS note: These Concerto cellos have the best tone in their class. Big and powerful, with a deep ‘C’ string.
Setup information: These cellos are supplied with a decent factory setup (strings installed, bridge cut, though usually a touch high – ready to be played once the bridge is put into place). Individual shops may wish to refine the setup according to their preference.
Optional BVS Shop Adjustment refinements are available if desired, to perform final adjustments to the pegs, bridge, soundpost, fingerboard, etc.
